The CEO of Chinese smartphone maker, One Plus, Pete Lau has confirmed that his company is working on a “more affordable smartphone product line”. Lau posted a link to a new Instagram account titled “OnePlusLiteZThing,” which is most likely the name od the new device.
The account then posted a cryptic message to fans which most happens to be a morse code for July. From all indications, the post seems to suggest One Plus will be launching at least a product in July 2020.

XDA-Developers had recently reported that the smartphone maker would likely release a OnePlus Z version in India for about $330. The phone is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 765 processor with 5G support and have a 6.55-inch 90Hz OLED display.
Lau then posted a tweet confirming that the brand is indeed adding a new series to its line up.

It is still unknown when the company will launch the series or what the official pricing will be. However, from all indications, the series will launch soon. OnePlus’ latest flagship is the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro, selling at around $699 and $899, respectively.
