Apple Reduces App Store Prices In South Africa And Other Countries

Apple has reduced App store prices in South Africa and other countries. The tech company revealed these price changes in some potential markets around the world.

Apple Is Reducing Its App Store Tax to 15 Percent for Most Developers

The United Kingdom is among the countries with reduced App store prices, countries that use the Euro as their official currency also get a discount.

Elsewhere Apple is doing the reverse, it is increasing App store prices in Georgia and Tajikistan as a result of a value-added tax of 18% for those countries.

This is good for developers, as they will be earning higher than their last cut of the App Store revenue.

Apple two days launched its new online store with a big design overhaul, more specific product, and services navigations. The online store was down for some time on Tuesday.

On the website’s landing page, there are specific links and images for the company’s products. Starting from the left is the Mac link and to the extreme right is the Apple TV.

It’s a far simpler version of the older Online store. Scrolling down is a What’s new section of the site that shows the company’s latest promotions and greatest products and accessories.

The new online store feels mobile, as it has vertical swipes on the web. The web page transitions and scrolls are quite smooth.

The Cupertino-based company had a busy last quarter, maintaining shipments and meeting revenue and profit targets. This is despite the global pandemic and global chip storage.

Apple is set to release its iPhone 13 series smartphone for 2022, new freshes of its Macbooks with new screen technology. Out to grow more sales and revenue, it has redesigned its online store. This will direct customers shopping for its new products during launch in a few months.
