The analyst said:

“We expect Apple to release a new MacBook Air around the middle of 2022 with a 13.3-inch mini LED display.

“If the component shortage continues to improve in 2022, it will benefit from the new MacBook Air and Apple Silicon upgrades.”

The display “Mini LED” is relatively new, with exceptional features like improved contrast levels and improved dynamic range.

Kuo had earlier mentioned that the new MacBook air will have a smaller display.

These are in 14 and 16 variants coming this year.

The new MacBook air is rumored to have two USB 4 ports, reintroduced MagSafe charging.  Same as the new Apple processors for its iPhones and iPads, there will be a direct successor to the present M1 processor according to Bloomberg.
