Microsoft Teams Premium is now giving everyone a preview through a 30-day free trial. The company is betting that the AI-powered features that come with the paid plan will convince more users to subscribe.
With live translations, custom meeting branding, meeting protections, and several other features, the premium plan is like a whole other version of the Microsoft Teams conferencing service. You can access the preview through the Microsoft 365 admin center.
With the need that the pandemic created now ending, Microsoft is looking to make the Teams service a tool useful for all kinds of interactions.

“Teams Premium makes every meeting from one-on-ones to large meetings, to virtual appointments to webinars, more personalized, intelligent, and secure,” Margi Desai, Product Manager for Microsoft Teams, wrote in a blog post.
The move will make it easier to bring other businesses and commercial customers onboard as they can see what they are missing out on. The 30-day trail has begun rolling out this December but will be completely available to all Microsoft customers by the end of January.
Microsoft has been expanding its business in all aspects and the b2b section appears to be one of the few that the company has not really been doubling down on until now. Its acquisition of Activision Blizzard (which is still under scrutiny) guarantees the growth of its gaming division in the coming years and its purchase of Lumensity increase its offering in the cloud and hardware industry.
