LG Drops Video Teaser Of The Coming Velvet Showing Its Features

On Sunday 19th April 2020, LG released a teaser video for the Velvet smartphone’s features to whet the appetite of enthusiasts as it is set to announce it.

In the second week of this month, the LG velvet design had leaked during a rendering process. It had been the first sneak peek at this proposed flagship. Now, LG has dropped a full video to announce it.

You can watch the teaser video of the LG Velvet here:

The video shows that the leaked rendering images were correct about its camera arrangement and design. That is; three cameras arranged vertically in descending order before the LED flash under them.

In addition, the video also shows that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 will power the smartphone. Thus, giving it the capacity to support 5G connectivity.

Another interesting feature that the video showed is that LG Velvet will come with a headphone jack. This is encouraging as it gives users the option of using a wireless headphone and/or one that has a cord.

Further, the video shows that LG Velvet will come with four primary colours: white, sunset, grey and green. There is still no information about the storage capacity and the battery.

However, these details will likely come later along with pricing and other in-depth information. There are still lots of hints that the smartphone will be more affordable than many of its current competitors.

Overall, the LG Velvet design is sleek and smooth with symmetrically curved edges to give it a luxurious look. Its selfie camera is fitted into a small raindrop cutout set into the face of the phone.

The company will announce the Velvet smartphone at an event in South Korea next month.
