Google has confirmed that it will launch the Pixel Watch, Pixel 7 series, and new Nest devices on October 6, 2022. The company began sending out invites a month early.

The Pixel 7 series and Pixel Watch were teased at the I/O keynote event in May and no specific date was given for their launch as the company had only mentioned that it would be coming during ‘fall’.
This latest announcement comes a day before the iPhone 14 launch at Apple’s Far Out event. However, there are clear differences in how the rivals handle launch.
Although they have both been besieged with alleged leaks and rumored revelations, Apple has chosen to sit on even the smallest of details. Without the confirmation, tech enthusiasts have been limited to grasping at straws.

Meanwhile, Google too has managed to not confirm much but it did say that the Pixel 7 would be powered by Tensor G2, a next-gen chipset. In addition to this, there are other details that the teasers have confirmed. For example, we know that the smartphone spots an aluminum camera bar and that the Pro version features tow cutouts.
Even the Pixel Watch has not been a closely guarded secret after someone found a prototype lying around in a restaurant earlier this year.
For the Nest devices, these coming smart home gadgets could be new a 6E-supported Nest WiFi (with Thread support) and a second generation Nest Doorbell with non-stop recording.
All eyes are tuned to the Apple Far Out event first.
