Google’s long-awaited Pixel watch has leaked in the most unexpected of ways; someone left it on a restaurant table in California, giving us our first peak at its live images.
According to the photos published by Android Central, the smart watch is a circular device with nearly bezeless display. It’s WearOS could not be determined because the watch was frozen on its not screen, meaning that it was likely a prototype or something.

Another inspection of the photos show where the band’s or straps are supposed to attach directly to the screen’s body. This design reminds me of Fitbit Versa and Sense devices, and likely explains why Google bought the company is in 2021 and willingly underwent a long vetting process by the antitrust board.
From the images leaked online, it proves that the coming Google Pixel watch uses the same optical heart rate monitor that is famous in the smartwatch industry as well. It features only one button, hinting at more functional touch screen.
In total, there were about nine live photos of the watch posted online. Before now, we have all settled for renders and prototype designs. Live photos mean that the watches have been either made completely or almost market ready. It means that Google could really launch the Pixel smartwatch in May 2022 as rumoured early this year.
