The Bey Queen is back! This time, with a stand-alone video of her hit track “Brown Skin Girl”.
The video is coming just a few weeks after she released the “Black is King”, a music memoir celebrating black people. In “Black is King”, we got to see snippets of “Brown Skin Girl”. However, it was only available to Disney + subscribers.
Now, “Brown Skin Girl” visuals have been released on YouTube for just about everyone to enjoy. The stunning video features Wizkid, Blue Ivy, Wizkid, SAINt JHN, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, and more.
Therein, they laud Black identity, heritage, and beauty to future generations of brown-skinned girls.

“Oh, have you looked in the mirror lately?/ Wish you could trade eyes with me ’cause/ There’s complexities in complexion/ But your skin, it glow like diamonds/ Pigment like the earth, you be giving birth/ To everything alive, baby, know your worth,” Beyoncé belts out the power words alongside Wizkid and her daughter Blue Ivy.
She also released a special good morning message with the video on Monday morning.
Beyoncé said:
“It was so important to me in ‘Brown Skin Girl’ that we represented all different shades of brown. We wanted every character to be shot in a regal light … It was important that we are all in this together and we’re all celebrating each other.”
