Nigerian superstar singer Tekno has announced he’s his debut album coming. He made the announcement in a tweet where he wrote that the ” mix and mastering” of the album is almost ready.

This news is long overdue as the singer who made an entry into Nigerian mainstream music scenes with his hit track “If I dance” over 7 years ago is yet to drop an album. If he makes true his word, Tekno will join the long list of artists who have given us albums this year.
He’s also announced he’s a new single coming on Friday titled “Toe to Toe.”

Tekno took a break from the music in 2018 after he suffered a severe health challenge called Acid Influx.
In a tell-all interview with OAP Daddy Freeze, the “Pana” crooner shared he had to cancel all his shows as the condition made sure his voice perpetually cracked and he couldn’t carry a tune. He resorted to surgery where a metal was attached to his chest to stop the Gastric influx.
The singer made a come back into the music scenes with his single, “Agege” which was mildly successful. Tekno followed up with “Skeletun” with which he stamped himself back to his hitmaker status. The album is expected to be packed full of great tunes, a culmination of his work since 2016 till now.
