Adekunle Gold’s “Afro Pop Vol.1” Album Is Finally Here

Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold has introduced his new album “Afro Pop Vol.1”. The new project is his third studio album, a follow up to “Gold” and ‘About 30’. It is a 10 track album that features top artists such as Tekno and Patoranking."Afro Pop Vol.1" Adekunle Gold Third Album Is Finally Out

2020 has been a good year for Alternate singer Adekunle Gold who kicked off the Year with “Jore” featuring Kizz Daniel and followed up with ‘Something Different’. “Jore” was produced by Pheelz and Major Banks, two hitmakers. “Something Different” was different from the usual alternative sound that we are accustomed to getting from him. It’s was a blend of highlife, Afropop, and jazz produced by BlaiseBeatz.

 

Adekunle showed a more s*xy side in “AG Baby”. The song is also gradually becoming a hit and enjoying massive airplay.

Meanwhile, speaking of his latest album Adekunle Gold said: “Afro-Pop Vol.1” is a reflection of his growing versatility.

“This album is different; nobody has ever named an album a new genre before. I wanted to coin all the sounds I put together on this album. I have been looking for an avenue to express myself limitlessly. It’s African popular music.” He told RWD Magazine, recently. AG Baby, true to his word, delivered range and versatility on this new album.
