The Golden Globes Awards took place yesterday, 5th January 2020. The 77th Golden Globes event held at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California, United States.
The show was hosted by Ricky Gervais for the fifth and last time.
Nominees were announced by Tim Allen, Dakota Fanning, and Susan Kelechi Watson on the 9th of December 2019.
Netflix led the way with 34 nominations, but when winners were announced on the awards that celebrate film and television, there were a few surprises.
This is because of films like “Two Popes”, “Marriage Story” and “The Irishman” all shockingly won no awards.
