Top Nigerian celebrities came to the future Africa awards with all the Glitz and Glamour.

Ex BBNaija housemates such as Elozonam, Diane Russet, Jeff, Sir Dee, and Leo Da Silva graced the red carpet with their presence.

Young talented Nigerians filled the night with their shine. They also proved that they are ready to take the lead in all spheres including, government.

 

Instagram celebrity, Temisan Emmanue and BBNaija’s housemate Khafi Kareem hosted the show. Folarin Falana, popularly called Falz also, anchored the event along with singer and actress Toni Tones.

The female hostess came prepared with beautifully made outfits. Toni tones stole the show with her first appearance wearing a dress with a very long train.

 

To thrill the audience, popular RnB musician Johnny Drille performed his hit songs “Sun go shine” and ” Wait for Me”.

 

Also present was award-winning musician Timi Dakolo. He performed his song “Nigerian” and did a cover of Bob Marley’s ”Redemption Song”

The Social media bill issue reared its head as it has now passed the second reading in the Senate.
Funmi Iyanda while presenting the award for Prize for Journalism mentioned that the bill is against the Freedom of Speech. She urged the youth must speak against it and all it stands for. Funmi is a veteran Nigerian journalist.

Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi also attended the show. In his speech, he announced that from the 30th of November there will be free rail transport from Lagos to Ibadan for three months.

 

The audience visibly showed their appreciation for this announcement. They also saw it as a welcome development to alleviate the transportation problem in the country.

 

The Future Africa Awards 2019 was a night of music, laughter, and fashion. But most importantly one to celebrate the Nigerian Youths. As they show they are ready to take over and create an impact in all spheres of industry.
