A new leak reveals that the coming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 will come with a battery cap of 4,270 mAh, see more.
Unveiled in 2019 and first released in September of that year, Samsung Galaxy Fold devices have slowly but steadily gained high-end customers’ trust.
With its initial cold reception and doubts now far from mind, the South Korean electronics company has continued to make more phones in the series. Its most recent Z Fold is the Galaxy Z Fold3, launched in August 2021.
Expectedly, the company is gearing towards releasing another one and there has been increasing interest in just about anything relating to the Fold4.

Now, after watchers found the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 batteries through a South Korea certification doc, there were more digging into its specs. Eventually, GalaxyClub, a Samsung phone focused-media outfit, uncovered their capacities.
It claims that one of the cells is rated at 2,002 mAh while the other is rated at 2,268 mAh, bringing the total cap to 4,270 mAh. Typically, foldable phones use two batteries due to its dual design and the battery capacity leaked is exactly the same as that of the Fold3.
It is not much of a disappointment because smartphones don’t upgrade on battery caps as often as annually. However, it would be impressive if other specs are higher. We can only tell when the device arrives later in 2022.
