Rocket League is getting a battle royale mode called Knockout Bash that will have eight players competing for the ultimate prize.
Knockout Bash will be a battle royale free-for-all mode that Rocket League players can start enjoying from April 27. It will feature a perma-death of three KOs, after which a player’s character cannot be respawned. Also, there will be a constantly shrinking battle arena and an encroaching danger zone. All of which are typical battle royale features to make the game more competitive and interesting.
Additionally, the game makers will introduce new actions and enhance existing abilities.

For example, The Verge highlights a feature that allows players to grab others and throw them into danger. The existing double jumps will now be triple jumps, and they will be able to fend off attacks with well-timed blocks.
While playing Rocket League’s Knockout Bash mode, players can also use the triple jump ability to dodge up to four times in the air before it resets.
The Knockout Bash will end on May 10, and you can download and play Rocket League from the Epic Games store for free. It is playable on Windows PC and has been described as a high-powered hybrid of arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem.
Even more interesting is the fact that players get paid, and Garrett Gordon (known with the player ID GarrettG) earned a total of $462,489 in 2021. Note that tournaments require payments.
