Samsung Announces Its Largest Curved Monitor The 4K Odyssey Ark

Samsung has announced its largest curved monitor yet, the 55-inch 4k Odyssey Ark with a special stand that allows it to be flipped vertically.  This giant of a screen monitor was unveiled during the company’s CES 2022 presentation.

The Odyssey Ark Monitor has quantum dot colours and MinI LED backlighting. This should produce very vivid colours on its 4k display panels. It does have a 16:9 aspect ratio and a HAS (Height Adjustable Stand) for adjustability.

There is also a wireless, dial controller that manages lightning and the interface of this huge monitor. The South Korean company has plans to sell this monitor during the second half of the year.

Samsung has a new Odyssey Neo G9 Tv has a Mini LED display, and it’s now on sale. This TV is an upgraded Odyssey G9 curved gaming monitor. The only difference is the Mini LED display with local dimming. Surprisingly the new display technology can reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

Odyssey Neo G9 Tv with Mini Display

The mini display mimics OLED technology, replicating the deep blacks and high contrast. In comparison with the Odyssey G9 gaming monitor with 10 local dimming zones, this tv has an outrageous 2,048. This Tv is ideal for gamers, fully equipped with the newer HDMI 2.1 ports(2). AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Variable refresh rate (VRR), and Nvidia’s G-Sync.

The Odyssey Neo G9 Tv has a DisplayPort 1.4 with adaptive sync, two USB 3.0 ports, and a headphone jack. The 55-inch 4k Odyssey Ark somewhat resembles the LG gaming throne announced at CES 2022. Well in terms of the screen and technology they share some similarities.

So what makes up this chair? There’s a large 55-inch OLED screen and a reclining seat that has an almost 360-degree angle. The TV has a 1500R curve, which can rotate between landscape and portrait modes with a press of a button. This concept is known as the “Midea Chair.”It also makes vibrations with multiple speakers around the chair for an immersive sound.
