Jobberman, Nigeria’s number one recruitment platform, is giving companies in the country a three-month free job listing offer. It lets firms save up to NGN45,000 in ads fee when they need to recruit fresh hands.

“The ultimate secret behind the continued business success of forward-thinking companies is their ability to attract and hire young talent,” Jobberman says about why it is offering the promo. “Their fresh energy, perspectives, enthusiasm, and a firm grasp of emerging technologies and digital trends are just some attributes that make young people a valuable asset to any company.”

However, there are several conditions attached to using this “free job listing credit”, as the platform calls it. For example, the listed jobs must be entry-level and require between 0 to 3 years of working experience.

Also, the company must put its name and show the salary range; these are two things some companies try to hide in order to get more applicants.

In addition, any company taking advantage of this offer must hire a candidate from the platform within 14 days of posting the job. This condition begs the question of what happens if the company needs more time to select a suitable candidate. Then, while Jobberman gives its Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for free, companies can only use it to shortlist and engage applicants.

The package is under the Jobberman Starter Job Product, and participating companies must wait for the CX team to approve their applications.
