The Emmy Awards were concluded last night and we have an array of award-winning comedy and drama series to choose from for your next binge. But if comedy and drama are not your speed, here are a bunch of sci-fi series you can binge.

X-Files is one of the longest-running sci-fi series in TV history. It has 218 episodes which make it prime binging content. The series follows FBI special agents investigate unexplained, mind-bending cases known as “X-Files” with no support from the disbelieving government.

2. Sense8 (2015 – 2018)

Sense8 is about eight strangers around the globe who find themselves connected. First, they all have a violent vision. Then they acquire a shared ability to connect with one another’s thoughts and actions and are bound by the urgent need to find out what happened and why.

3. The Man In The High Castle (2015 – )

This series, loosely based Philip K. D**k’s novel of the same name, takes a look at what the world might look like if Hitler and his allies had won World War II. Despite the oppression in this new world, a new hope emerges when films turn up that seem to show a different world. A woman believes the films contain the key to freedom and sets out on a journey to find their mysterious guardian.

4. Black Mirror

This anthological sci-fi series has sharp, suspenseful, satirical tales that explore techno-paranoia. “Black Mirror” is a contemporary reworking of “The Twilight Zone” with stories that tap into the collective unease about the modern world. Each story features its own cast of unique characters and will have you hooked from the first episode.

5. Westworld

Westworld isn’t about a typical amusement park. Robotic androids look over the futuristic park. It allows rich vacationers to indulge in their often twisted fantasies through artificial consciousness. But what happens when the robots start to gain sentience and see out their own desires?

Nevertheless, no matter which series you decide to watch, you’re going to have a stellar and maybe even transcendental experience because they not only show the wonders of the unknown but what is also frightful about it.
