The phone has a 95% screen-to-body ratio and ZTE calls its 6.67-inch display a “borderless, curved” OLED panel. Both the front and back are protected with Gorilla Glass 5 and include HDR10 support. The phone offers adaptive refresh rates that top out at144Hz.  However, it can drop the refresh rate depending on the application to save battery life.

The Axon 30 Ultra 5G also has a large 4,600mAh battery that supports fast 66W wired charging. The phone is to ship with Android 11, offering an in-screen fingerprint reader for biometric unlock.

The junior Axon 30 Pro includes the same Snapdragon 888 chipset but features a different rear camera configuration. It also has a 120Hz screen and  55W charging.
