Wizkid has dropped the visuals for his single “Smile” off his upcoming album “Made In Lagos.”
The direction the video took came as a surprise to many as the afrobeats superstar and music director Meji Alabi worked together to create a masterpiece.
Since some the lyrics read:
“I love your life, yeah
Love it when you smile
Say, I will do anything for my love, yeah yeah
I will do anything for my love, yeah
Oh Lord, run inside a building up in flames Just to be with my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I will do anything for my love, oh Lord (yeah)”
…many expected the video to tow a more romantic line, featuring Wizkid and his love interest vixen dancing in dim light.

However, “Smile” the visuals is a celebration of the artist’s beautiful life and heritage. Like it’s aptly named, the video swings through different scenes filming people of gorgeous skins and smiles, all radiating joyous energy.
Wizkid, proud papa, also introduced us to his three sons, Boluwatife, Ayo, and Zion.

H.E.R also made an appearance adding elegance and just pure good vibes to the visuals. “Smile” is the first single of Starboy’s upcoming album “Made In Lagos” which is set to drop on October 16th.
