The much-anticipated Season 3 of Red TV’s web series The Men’s Club is out today June 22nd. The series is directed by Tola Odunsi and written by Dami Ebele. The Men's Club

We’re positive viewers of the show cannot wait to be thrilled by the drama and intrigue this new season would bring.

If you’ve not been following the show and want to join in now or need a recap of what’s happened so far then read through as we will be serving a review of TMC.

The Men’s Club follows the story of four young men played by Ayoola Ayoola, Baaj Adebule, Daniel Effiong, and Efa Iwara navigating through life as they struggle to balance their careers, friendships, and relationships.

Ayoola Ayoola plays Aminu, a confident and rich young man in the prime of his life. This is familiar waters for Ayoola as he’s played a similar role in the popular web series SGIT. However, unlike Mide, Aminu has a touch of wickedness in him.

He disregards his fiance Jasmine played by Sharon Ooja claiming not to love her. He then meets a young banker Tumini ( Mimi Chaka) who he somewhat bullies into a relationship. Aminu is now entangled in a messy love triangle with Tumini and Jasmine.

Baaj Adebule plays Louis Okafor, a spoiled mummy’s boy who’s half-heartedly trying to break free from the clutches of family obligations. He works a day job he hates and moonlights as hotelier which is also provided by his mum.

Louis is engaged to Tonye MacPherson, played by Segilola Ogidan. Despite Tonye truly loving Louis, he rails against the relationship because it was arranged by his mother. In protest, he resorts to using his hotel for clandestine trysts his mother and fiancee would not approve of.

There’s Tayo Oladapo played by Efa Iwara. The character is a young man married to a rich but nasty wife who never fails to remind him how everything he is and owns is courtesy of her and her father. Frustrated in his pseudo-privilege, he seeks extramarital relations outside his home. Unbeknownst to him, his wife is also sleeping with his younger brother. He finds out and it all explodes into a huge mess that sends the marriage flying in splinters.

Finally, there’s Lanre Taiwo played by Daniel Effiong. While TMC is bedeviled with conflicted characters, the lack thereof in this one is quite telling. A young developer running a startup, Lanre seemed to be quite content with his life.

Then he’s propositioned by cougar client who wants him not for only business but to warm her sheets as well. Lanre discards his girlfriend and begins an affair with this client. He’s now longing for a relationship with a woman who only wants a s*x buddy.

As The Men’s Club Season 3 begins, we hope to see more character development and progression of the plot which seemed to slow down in season two.
