Tecno is planning to launch its latest smartphone line, Camon 19 series, on June 14. In additional news, the launch is planned for a location in the United States.
Although details are still emerging about the phone and the event, we are buzzed for this new age of Tecno phones that are about to hit the market.
Traditionally, Tecno is focused on Asian and African markets with past launches taking place in its home country of China, neighbours South Korea and even Nigeria. However, it seems that the mobile phone manufacturer is ready to spread its wings and fly into more competitive places.

According to the event poster above, Tecno wants to strike at the heart of New York City with Camon 19 series. By offering lower prices for its devices, the company has managed to stay in business for so long despite the dominance of Apple and Samsung.
Unsurprisingly, this is the first time Tecno is holding a major event in the US and it will certainly have to bring its A game to a population that have seen quite a lot of spectacles over the years.
Besides dazzling at launch, the specs that the devices would be offering will play a major role in how its entrance into the market will turn out. Already, there are rumours that the Camon 19 will be a 5G phone running on Android 13 Beta. Also, we have heard of its 8GB/256GB memory pairing and 48MP triple camera setup.
Samsung Galaxy flagships and iPhones have shown that Tecno does not have to worry about pricing too high and focus more on delivering performance-wise.
