Sub-Saharan Africa’s leading distributor, TD Africa initiated a social media challenge on 3rd April, 2020. This was a timely move to further curb the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria by encouraging people to lend their voices to the stay home movement.
The task required its followers to get creative by doing a medley to pass the message of staying at home to stay safe. Tons of entries had flooded timelines on Instagram and Twitter for the past few days; showcasing different concepts and genres of music. Twenty two out of 72 entries have been given the pass to the next stage of the competition where the winners will be decided using a poll.
What is at stake?
On the table are N50,000, N30,000 and N20,000 shopping vouchers for the Winner, Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up respectively. With these vouchers, the lucky beneficiaries would be able to purchase items online on Konga, Nigeria’s foremost e-Commerce platform, which is still actively rendering delivery service during the lockdown.
Plat4om, being a media partner of TD Africa is conducting the poll (see below) to determine the winner. You can also skip the poll (scroll down) to watch the 22 entries first, before making a decision. You are only expected to vote once which is why you are required to enter your email address in the Google forms. At this point, we say good luck to the contestants.
