See the key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M11 that the company just announced in the UAE as its latest smartphone.
In 2020, Samsung has played its smartphone cards properly. It set the ball rolling with high-end phones like the S20s and the Galaxy Z Flip. Knowing what sort of hole the pricing will cut in pockets, it has now announced one that will likely be more affordable.
Going back to its M-series that was first announced in February 2019, the electronics giant names the new one Galaxy M11. Its likely predecessor is the Galaxy M10 that also came early in 2019.
While the earlier versions of the phones came with either the Samsung Exynos or Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, we are not told what chipset the Galaxy M11 comes with.
One thing that we expected is that it uses the 4G network as opposed to the 5G network that smartphones are striving for in recent times. Other Samsung Galaxy M11 connectivity specifications are; Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5 mm audio jack, Wi-Fi b/g/n at 2.4 GHz. It does not have a Near-field communication (NFC).

In addition, it has a 6.4” LCD of HD+ resolution and a punch hole in the top left corner for the selfie camera. This camera is an 8MP f/2.0 with a fixed focus feature. The Galaxy M11 comes an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.8GHz. It has a RAM of 3GB, a storage space of 32GB and a slot for a microSD card.
The smartphone also features three rear cameras arranged vertically. The lead camera is a 13MP f/1.8 shooter. Then, there is a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle snapper. The third camera is a depth sensor that makes portrait photos better.
Its battery capacity is 5,000 mAh which is charged through a USB-C port.
It is likely that it will first be available for sale in the UAE. But the company has not announced arrival dates and prices for the Samsung Galaxy M11.
