See four new Chrome features you should start using now

Chrome recently rolled out four new features that improve research and privacy online. Learn how to access these features and exactly what they do.

1. Journeys –

This is a feature aimed at helping users resume where they last stopped on a search. The Journeys feature organises searches and pages that you have visited. Then, the AI reads them and suggests what you can check next. To access it:

  • Enter a topic you want to resume researching in the address bar
  • Click the “Resume your journey” to choose the option.

  • Click “Privacy and Security”
  • Click “Privacy Guide.”

4. Find on page –

This is likely not a new function for seasoned online researchers. You can use the find word or phrase tool to skip the stress of scrolling through an entire page. To access it:

  • Click “More” (or the three horizontal dots) from the top right and select “Find”
  • Enter a word or phrase in the find bar and press Enter
  • Your word or phrase will be highlighted and easier to find
  • (You can use the Ctrl + F keyboard shortcut to skip the first step).
