Razer has added a voice amp feature to its newest facial mask, the ‘Zephyr Pro‘ the company announced at the CES 2022 event. The company omitted the feature from the original Zephyr mask after testing its addition.

What’s the difference between the Pro version and the original one? Razer has added two speaker grills at the bottom replaceable filter and a new button for voice amplification.

They get as loud as 60 decibels at a range for one meter for voice and just cost $149. The company will be releasing the Pro version later in 2022 with no specific date at the time of reporting.

Razer during its E3 2021 presentation announced the Hazel Masks, in limited editions, it now renames them and opened up a beta testing program. The same Hazel masks are now called the Razer Zephyr.

The company made a tad change to the overall design of the mask, they are rounder and have a grille at its bottom. Razer released another teaser video of the facial mask.

These masks will only be available on their website. They are surgical N95 respirator masks, with active ventilation and auto-sterilization functions. The Hazer mask was originally shown in January, with cool features like interior lighting, anti-fog coating. The company is also making it possible for others to see the wearer’s mouth. Yes, smile.

Razer removed the voice amplification from its earlier masks after concerns of weight and battery life. These new Zephyr Pro masks will probably weigh the same as the base model but for a higher price and functionality.
