Oppo Ace2 Arrives With Snapdragon 865, Four Rear Cameras And Super-Fast Wireless Charging

Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communications company, Oppo has officially announced specifications for its Ace2 smartphone. This comes after several weeks of leakages and speculations.

Oppo Ace2 turns heads with its super-fast 65W wired charging — which was also available in the Reno Ace version. In addition to this, its 40W wireless charging capacity surely gives it a major edge in the wireless charging community.

According to GSMArena, the smartphone will come with its own brand new wireless 40W AirVOOC charger and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0. It packs a 4000 mAh battery and this is not all in the power department.

Further specification announcements reveal that Oppo Ace2 will support 10W reverse wireless charging. The company boasts that the smartphone can complete a full charge cycle in only 56 minutes.

In addition, it will launch with the Snapdragon 865 chipset and thus allows 5G network connectivity. Part of its feature includes Wi-Fi 6 and NFC, which enables short-range communication between compatible devices.

Oppo Ace2 has a 90Hz refresh rate and an OLED display screen that measures 6.5-inch with FHD+ resolution. Also, it brings a 180Hz touch sampling rate. There is also a punch-hole cut into the top-left of the screen for its selfie camera.

This selfie camera is a 16MP machine that balances the four rear cameras. These cameras are arranged in a circular pattern which is led by a 48MP main camera. To complement the lead camera, there is an 8MP camera for ultrawide shots. The other two cameras are 2MP shooters that assist users in covering depths and are called “portrait cameras”.

Oppo Ace2 will be powered by Android 10 and ColorOS 7.1. There will be three different storage pricing versions for the phone. The 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM version will cost NGN219,200 ($565) while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version will cost NGN242,500 ($625) and the 12GB RAM and 256GB version will cost NGN252,200 ($650).
