Microsoft Xbox cloud gaming platform “xCloud” will soon be available on your Windows PC via the Xbox app. Although this feature is in testing for its Xbox insider program.
Its revamped Xbox app now has xcloud baked in. The web-based gaming platform can only be accessible using a compatible controller. The controllers are either connected via Bluetooth or USB to play games from your Windows 10 PC.
Jason Beaumont, Partner director of Xbox experiences says this to say:
“We’ve also added some new features to help you get started, including easy-to-access information on controller and network status, “social features to stay connected with friends, and the ability to invite people – even those also playing on cloud without the game installed – to join you in a game,”

Microsoft’s new Xbox app now has a new “cloud games ” segment, that displays all the games available for xCloud on the web. If you are not an Xbox insider tester, you can try out xCloud at Xbox play to try it out.
Beta testing is currently available in 22 different countries, insiders have accessed the feature through the “Windows Gaming” preview in the Xbox Insider Hub app.
A new Xbox night mode now allows users to dim their screen, power button, and itself. Although, still in testing by Xbox insiders, the feature should be rolling out to users soon.
This soon-to-be-released public feature allows a lot f customization. There are different levels of light dimness. To reduce light harming reactions, Microsoft is integrating an optional blue light filter.
Xbox’s LED lights can be distracting, especially to gamers at night. Users would soon be able to turn off their power button light or dim it.
For the screen, users can disable HDR at Night to reduce the overall screen brightness. These new additions to the box platform will be available publicly in no distance time. The beat program tries to iron out bugs, hassles, and readability of the hands-on.
