Meghan Markle’s estranged father Thomas Markle recently granted an interview to her sworn enemy Piers Morgan and his co-host on Good Morning Britain to counter her claims of racism she experienced while in the UK.
Thomas Markle says he watched the 2 hours long bombshell interview his daughter and Prince Harry granted Oprah Winfrey which aired on CBS on Monday, 8th March 2021.
Thomas in the interview with Piers Morgan said he didn’t believe that the Royal Family is racist. He also counters her claims that the royal family was concerned about Archie’s skin color. Recall that during the interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan said she was questioned on if Archie, her son with Prince Harry, will be brown-skinned.
Meghan Markle’s father said he doubts the authenticity of her account saying if truly a royal asked about how ‘dark’ Archie’s skin would be, it was probably just a ‘dumb question’. He also calls Meghan and Harry’s claims ‘bulls**t’.
“I don’t think the British or the royal family are racist at all. Los Angeles is racist, California is racist but I don’t think the Brits are” Mr Markle says.
On how he felt to know his child was depressed and suicidal while pregnant with her first child, Thomas Markle says it upset him. He however adds that Harry did not do a good job of supporting his wife.
“It really did upset me, like I said, it would have been easy for her to reach out to me, any of the rest of her family, who she claims she doesn’t know. But the other thing is that I would think that she could turn to her husband.’ When noted she did, he said: ‘Obviously not supported her that well.’

He also used the opportunity to appeal to Meghan to reach out to him
‘I’d like to say again. I’m sorry for what I’ve done. This was two years ago. But I’ve tried to make it up to her. I’m now only 70 miles away. I’ve never stopped loving her. I don’t agree with all the things that my children they do. But I will always love them. And I certainly love Meghan’.
Mr. Markle cut a deal with paparazzi in 2018 to sell Meghan and Harry’s wedding photos. The act strained even more their already laboured relationship. Mr. Markle says that he’s apologised ‘100 times’ and urged the couple to visit him since they’re now in America.

Meghan Markle is currently pregnant and expecting a baby girl sometime in summer.
