This will not be the first time Mary Njoku will speak on marriage issues. The ROK Studios boss on Sunday 18th April stated that marriage is a partnership, and as such men should not feel that they are doing their wives a favour when they pay bills.

The actress stated that this is because paying bills is the man holding up the part of his bargain.

Dear African men, you are not doing your wife, the mother of your kids a favour when you pay bills. Marriage and parenting is a partnership. You are merely holding up the part of the bargain,” she wrote.

Mary Njoku and her husband Jason Njoku are one of Nigeria’s most influential couples. They’re the co-founders and CEO of iROKOtv, a video-on-demand service for Nigerian movies. The couple has three children together.
