Dark skin around the pubic region is not uncommon. A number of varying factors can be the cause of the skin around your pubic areas and your inner thighs being darker than the rest of your body.
The skin around these areas can be very sensitive and prone to hyperpigmentation. Shaving, use of deodorant, wearing polyester underwear, excessive sweating, tight clothes, constant friction, and hair-removing creams can worsen the situation.
It can be worrisome too especially if you like to wear shorts, skirts, or bikinis to the beach. It’s not advisable to use bleaching agents in these areas as they’re super sensitive and can breed health problems.
However, there are natural ways to lighten dark skin around your pubic region. This piece highlights some of them.
