We are moments away from the release of Kanye West’s new album, “Jesus Is King”, and the rapper has shared a new tracklist. The new tracklist shows that some singles have been moved around.

The rapper initially promised to release the long-delayed album at midnight.

The post he shared showed an entirely different tracklist from what was initially shared. Take a look at the new “Jesus Is King” tracklist:

  1. “Every Hour”
  2. “Selah”
  3. “Follow God”
  4. “Closed On Sunday”
  5. “On God”
  6. “Everything We Need”
  7. “Water”
  8. “God Is”
  9. “Hands On”
  10. “Use The Gospel”
  11. “Jesus Is Lord”

However, he did not drop it as planned. Hours later, fans were still in wait. Ye then took to Twitter to apologise to his fans, sharing reasons for the delay. He then promised that he (and possibly his team) wouldn’t go to sleep until the album dropped.

The “Jesus Is King” album was initially slated for a September release. Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian West shared what appeared to be a handwritten tracklist with the date September 27th on social media. But the date passed with no album release.

After the delay, Kanye then did a bunch of promo appearances to hype the release of the album. He taped a surprise guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday. He also appeared on the program after midnight later that night. When he stepped out on stage, he even told the crowd that the album is “out now”, as he knew the show would air after midnight.

But the album was a no-show.

Nevertheless, Kanye’s new IMAX film premieres in theatres this weekend. The artist will release the film exclusively in Imax theatres around the world on Friday, 25th October 2019.

Directed by Nick Knight, the film will feature West’s ongoing Sunday Service series that takes place in Roden Crater. It is an Arizona-based art installation by light and space artist James Turrell.
