Cellulite is unfortunately something that plagues many women. Dry brushing

Dry brushing your skin is a great way to stimulate blood and lymph flow and open up your pores.  While brushing, work up from your legs up to your thighs in anticlockwise motions before moving up to your stomach. This therapy has been proven to be inexpensive yet extremely effective in the treatment of cellulite.

Coffee scrub

The caffeine in coffee promotes the circulation of blood tremendously. A coffee scrub is a great exfoliator as it removes dead skin cells and tightens the pores of the skin. Make a scrub out of coffee and work it on the affected areas to reduce puckered skin surface and cellulite.

Apple cider vinegar

Surprisingly, apple cider vinegar can actually be used to get rid of cellulite. Because of its astringent properties, Apple Cider vinegar is able to tighten pores and puckers from cellulite. The vinegar contains potassium, magnesium, minerals, and calcium. These properties decrease cellulite, eliminates toxins, and controls excess water around the thighs and stomach.

To use, mix 2 parts water to 1 part Apple Cider Vinegar and add a few drops of honey. Apply on the affected areas and scrub in to reduce cellulite.

Exercises

Now, while this is not the very fun part, exercising is key to reducing cellulite. Cardio, squats, leg exercises, helps to increases blood flow to these areas. This can burn down fat and significantly reduce its appearance.

Cut down on fat

Watching what you eat is also one way of reducing unevenness on your skin. Eating a balanced diet and cutting down on salt will go a long way to reduce their appearance.

Consume Omega-3

Consuming Omega-3 will provide you with the right fat you need in your body. When this is correctly balanced, lumps of fat that cause cellulite will be evened out. Omega-3 can be found in fish so stock up on your salmon and codfishes. If you’re not big on eating fish, you can opt for taking Omega-3 pills; one every day.

Moisturise

Moisturising constantly will help to eliminate dead cells and smoothen out uneven skin. You can check your local drug store for a body moisturiser and use it every day after a bath. Continuous usage will reduce cellulite to the barest in no time.
