Google Keep users can now copy and paste images across apps

Google Keep users get an update that lets them copy and paste images in a drag and drop system. For now, the new feature works only for Android users and it is compatible with third-party apps.

The company showed how the feature would work on Android devices. Below it shows dragging and dropping the image of a cat from the app to an email composer.

Before that, it had announced several updates as well like working offline with Microsoft Office files on your desktop, styling fonts and rich text formatting in Google Forms, and more.

To use the feature, you have to download the Google Keep app on your Android phone or tablet. Then, you can follow the steps below and do the following:

  • Create or edit a note
  • Make a list
  • Save a drawing as a note
  • Label, color, or pin notes
  • Archive notes & lists
  • Set up reminders for your notes.

You can share notes with other and even invite them to edit your notes as well by clicking on a note in Google Keep on your computer and selecting the collaborator icon. Next, you enter their name, email address or the Google Group they belong to and click Done after choosing the person’s name.

If you don’t know what Google Keep is, it is like a note where you can have lists, photos and even audio files. It is connected to several other Google software and lets you easily share your notes with others or set time-based reminders or add lists to the to-do app.
