Frank Ocean Reportedly Loses Younger Brother In A Ghastly Auto-crash

Grammy award-winning Frank Oceans brother Ryan Breaux has reportedly died in a ghastly motor accident in Thousand Oaks, California.frank oceanAccording to ABC 7, two men were killed in a single-vehicle collision around 1.30 am on August 2. One of the men was identified as Ryan Breaux, 18, and the other his friend, Bishop Zeke.

 

Authorities responded to an emergency call during the early hours of Sunday. From indications, their car had veered off the road, collided with a tree, and burst into flames. The two were pronounced dead on the scene.

 

In a press release, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said:

“The initial investigation revealed the vehicle was travelling south on Westlake Boulevard approaching Skelton Canyon Circle. The vehicle appeared to leave the roadway and collide with a tree in the center median.

However, Frank Ocean is yet to comment publicly on the news.

Friends of the Ocean family who knew Frank and his brother Breaux have taken to Twitter to commiserate with them over the loss of their son.

 

“Rest In Peace Ryan Breaux,” wrote DJ and producer Kai Asa Savon Wright, known professionally as Sango. Sango is most famed for his remixes of Ocean’s tracks; ‘Nights’ and ‘Cayendo’.

 

Rapper MadeinTYO, real name Malcolm Jamaal Davis, also paid his respects to the late Ryan Breaux.

 

“Ryan Breaux, you were a good kid & always showed me love,” Davis wrote on Twitter. “see you up top! pray for frank family”.

 

Frank Ocean born Edwin Breaux shared a special relationship with his late brother. In 2011, the singer wrote a song ‘Orion’ for his younger brother, telling him to enjoy his youth and live to the fullest. He also featured Breaux in on “Futura Free” the last song of his highly successful album “Blonde”. The song fades off with Ocean and 11-year-old Breaux having a conversation.
