Bedtime is the time to relax from the stress of the day, to reflect on how you spent the day and make plans for the next day. There are certain bedtime routines or habits that you should adopt to make your night enjoyable.

These are basic and simple evening routines that help you end the day with a clear mind and start fresh in the morning.

Below are bedtime habits that will benefit you when you adopt them.

1. 10 minutes clean up

Set your environment up for success the next day. Tidy up the place and put everything in the way you like it to be. You’re doing this for you and it takes maybe 10 minutes.

You can clean up your work desk if you are working from home due to COVID-19. The kitchen where you made dinner and any other part of the house since you don’t want to wake up to a messy home.

2. 5 minutes yoga

There are two types of people: the ones who like to shower in the morning and the ones who like to shower before they go to bed. Taking a shower before you go to bed not only helps you get clean physically, but it also relaxes you, detoxing your mind and body.

After that bath/shower, brush your hair and moisturize your face and body. You will feel brand new and relaxed after this 15-minute routine.
