Dr Dre’s estranged wife Nicole Young has been denied an emergency restraining order she filed against him.
Andre Young musically known as Dr Dre says he has only contacted Nicole Young since she filed for divorce. However, she asked the courts to grant her restraining order claiming she feels targeted by him and his fans.
According to TMZ, Young filed for a restraining order after bits of his unreleased song dissing her was previewed on Instagram.
The song addressed Dre’s recent hospitalisation and his ongoing divorce.
“Trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury, I see you trying to f— me while I’m in surgery/In ICU, death bed, on some money sh–, greedy b—, take a pick, girl you know how money get … You know we don’t tolerate that nonsense, by any means get your hand up out my pocket/This life is private just like the pilot, it’s been decided, this the Poseidon.” some of the lyrics read.

Nicole Young claims that using the lyrics, “he has upped the ante and is now outright threatening me to keep my mouth shut or else,” TMZ reported.
However, according to reports, the judge dismissed the motion saying although there is “sufficient evidence”, the offending lyrics are not enough reason to warrant a restraining order.
Dr Dre and his lawyer Laura Wasser claim they’ve only been in contact with her since June 2020 when she filed for divorce. This was when she visited him in the hospital.
Dre also denies all her claims of physical abuse. According to TMZ, since Young made the claims of physical abuse, the music billionaire said he “realised he had no idea who the woman he was married to was and he wanted nothing to do with her.”
