The divorce saga between Dr Dre and his estranged wife Nicole Young continues to unfold with even more gory details.
Nicole Young is now asking for a $2 million spousal fee monthly to cover her expenses. She was previously been seeking for a split in their estate but the move was discontinued after Dr. Dre’s team dug up a prenup signed by her.
According to a document obtained by The Blast, the music producer exerted “extreme coercive control over her”. This began shortly after their wedding. He also allegedly forced her to sign the prenup.
“While talented, Andre’s personal life was turbulent and violent and was marred by encounters with law enforcement, incarceration, and physical and emotional abuse against women” she claimed in the document.
Her lawyer went further to describe the situation of their union.”Under extreme duress consistent with the pattern of coercive control in the relationship that existed before the wedding date.” The document said he allegedly under “foisted upon Nicole, duress akin to placing “a gun to one’s head”, forcing her or sign the prenup.
Detailing the events that led up to her filing for divorce, Young said Dre in a “drunken rage” sent her out of their 43,000-square-foot Brentwood mansion on April 1, “in the middle of the night”.
He sent her packing to their holiday home in Malibu.

The rapper and billionaire followed up with texts that instructed her not to spend any of their money. “Do not spend one more cent… You can’t be mean and disrespectful and spend my hard-earned money. F–k that!”
Young filed for Divorce on June 21st citing irreconcilable differences. She says he continued to threaten her with aggressive texts.
“If you allow [your attorneys] to disrespect me, dig into my personal business, that means War!!! And there’s no coming back from that” the document cited.
According to Young, Dre since the divorce proceedings have been trying to retrieve his properties from their Malibu home including his golf clubs and a gun. Given his history of violence and coercive behavior, she says she fears for her life.
She has refused to let him into the property.

If paid, it will cause Dr. Dre to lose a significant amount of his estate which is worth a few billion.
The couple were married for 24 years and share two children together.
