Asus has released new gaming ROG Phone 5S and 5S Pro smartphones, with Qualcomm’s newest processor. This original ROG phone 5 is updated with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Plus chip.
The Chip manufacturing company is the major supplier of chips for Andriod smartphones available in the market. Qualcomm currently has the beefiest processor of any chip company for Android Smartphones.
Available in Phantom Black and Aurora white colours, the Asus ROG Phone starts at $1,077 While the ROG Phone 5s Pro will starts at $1,365.

Both phones ship with 5G global connectivity, a responsive 360 Hz screen and a monster 6000 mAh battery. Also spotting 6.78-inch screens with 64-megapixel main sensors and up to 18GB of RAM.
The ROG Phone 5s Pro has an optimum thermal structure with AeroActive Cooler 5 for core gamers. It also uses a 144HZ Samsung AMOLED display with flagship triple cameras. Both phones have 65W Hypercharge fast charging via USB Type-C port.
For audio, the ROG Phone 5s Pro retains a 3.5mm headphone jack with a high-end codec. Sounds emit from symmetrical dual front-facing stereo speakers. While its GameFX also gives crystal-clear in-game sound effects and powerful aural soundscapes.
Impressively, the Pro phone has kickstand cooler buttons at the back of the phone when triggered to cool the phone. Motion control and rear touch sensors are all over the gaming phone that mimics console-like controls intuitively.
These new smartphones are available on preorder now in the Taiwan market only. They will ship on August 24th in Taiwan, according to a report by Gizmochina.
