Dallas-based rapper Melvin Noble a.k.a. Mo3 died from gunshot wounds he suffered. Sources say the suspect chased him on foot. The shooting occurred on Interstate-35E on Wednesday 11th November, sources close to the investigation told CBS 11 News.

The incident began as the victim was travelling on northbound I-35E at Clarendon Drive. A suspect armed with a gun got out of a vehicle with a gun and approached the victim’s vehicle, according to police.

Police said the victim, who sources identified as 28-year-old Noble, also got out of his vehicle and began running southbound on the freeway. The suspect chased the victim and fired multiple rounds at him, striking the victim at least once, police said.

An innocent bystander who was inside his vehicle was also struck by the gunfire. Both victims got to a hospital, where sources said Noble died.

According to the police, the innocent bystander was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. They are also yet to make any arrest as they continue to investigate.

Mo3 had a 2018 hit single “Errybody,” which had millions of streams. This shooting comes almost a year after he was shot in the head in December. However, the rapper managed to survive the attack.

His manager Brandon Rainwater has mourned the passing Of Rapper Mo3 “He Came From Nothing And Made Something Of Himself,” He said.
