Founder Billionaire Richard Branson says that the company is having an  “enhancement program” to improve some aspects of its available flight crafts. A recent internal laboratory test  “flagged a possible reduction in the strength margins of certain materials used to modify specific joints, and this requires further physical inspection.”

The company is taking safety seriously, when though it claims its vehicles can withstand the forces of its flight. Its next test flight will still be available for mid-2022, as they conclude all their enhancements and checks.

Virgin Galactic increased its booking for its space tourism trip from $250,000 to a whopping $450,000 after its first successful commercial flight.

This raffle draw permits a user a seat in the space company VSS Unity vehicle. This closed on September 1, 2021. Technically, the more you donate to the cause, the greater the chances.

Let’s say you donate $20, you get 200 entries, while $45 will get you 450 entries on the raffle on this analogy.

This isn’t the first time Virgin Galactic is pausing its Space program. In 2014, the company experienced a flight crash causing the death of a pilot. The Space program was paused and improvements were made, resulting to its July 2021 commercial flight.
