Veteran musician Baba Fryo, has revealed that he is going through depression. This has prompted the singer to cry out for help from family, friends, well-wishers, the government of Delta and Rivers State.
A well-known name in the 1990s and early 2000s, Baba Fryo who ruled the airwaves with hits like “Dem go dey pose” and galala dance moves, took to his social media to announce that he is currently suffering from depression.
In a post on Instagram, Baba Fryo who requested help in block letters;
“I’M HAVING A SERIOUS DEPRESSION”.

Baba Fryo whose real name is Friday Igweh a Nigerian singer from the ghettos of Ajegunle. Meanwhile, in May 2019, the singer alleged that he was physically assaulted by some unidentified soldiers around Ojo, Lagos.
The Galala dance crooner shared photos of his assaulted face on Facebook and asked that the perpetrators are brought to book.
Baba Fryo ruled the Nigerian music scene in the early 90s alongside the likes of Daddy Showkey, Mighty Mouse, Marvellous Benji, and Daddy Fresh.
