Veteran Bollywood film star Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The Indian actor made the announcement on his Twitter page on Saturday 11th July 2020. He also requested that those who have been in close proximity with him in the last ten days get themselves tested.

Meanwhile, Abhishek, Amitabh Bachchan’s son also an actor, an hour later announced that he was also positive for the coronavirus:

Abhishek Bachchan fondly called “Junior Bachchan” made his acting debut in 2000 with J. P. Dutta’s war film “Refugee”. He also won three consecutive Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
