Actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham have cleared the air over her frosty beef with Funke Akindele.
Abraham in a recent Radio chat shared that she and Funke Akindele are colleagues in the industry but they’re not friends.
“She’s my senior colleague and she’s someone I respect a lot. So I don’t know what people are talking about. You know, a lot of people don’t understand that we are colleagues, not family, so you cannot be talking to all your colleagues,” she said

“We talk, we follow each other, If I see her I greet her. But a lot of people do not understand that we are working in the same industry and you don’t have to be my friend. Just forget about social media, forget social media.”

Speculations that the two filmmakers may be at loggerheads arose after actress Iyabo Ojo bashed a film blogger on Instagram for talking down Toyin Abrahams “The Tout and Ghost Too” film.
The platform CinemaPointer described Abraham’s movie as “a haplessly brain-dead story” while also alleging that the actress attempted to copy Akindele’s concept in the “Omo Ghetto” sequel
The review had sparked intense controversies with Iyabo Ojo criticising the platform for allegedly attempting to discredit Abraham’s work.
Iyabo Ojo had also alleged that the “rubbish review” on Abraham’s latest movie was sponsored by “Funke”.
