SpaceX has launched another 60 Starlink satellites into orbit Sunday, 14th March 2021. The rockets were aboard the Falcon 9 rocket which returned to Earth successfully, the company announced afterward.
The mission is a record ninth flight and landing for the Falcon 9 booster, SpaceX said. It was part of five earlier Starlink launches and the DM-1 mission for its Crew Dragon capsule.

The satellites are part of an over 1000 Starlink constellation, which SpaceX is building to provide internet connectivity to rural areas on Earth. Starlink has permission to launch 12,000 satellites as part of the project.
The satellite provides internet to about 10,000 users in the beta program it launched in 2020. The Starlink kit comes with a router and antenna, costs $499, and has a monthly subscription of $99. It provides internet speeds between 70 and 130 Mbps to beta testers.
The company began pre-orders for Starlink in the US, Canada, and the UK in February 2021, with a $99 deposit fee.
The launch marked the second time the company launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in one week. It launched another of its Falcon 9 rockets into orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday 11th March 2021. During that launch, it also sent 60 satellites into orbit. Starlink is also scheduled to launch another batch of satellites on March 21st, from Cape Canaveral.
