Six Big Game Announcements From Bethesda At E3 2019

Video game publishers Bethesda Softworks had some great reveals at their E3 keynote speech. They have had some massive hit games in the past. However, they revealed some exciting announcement dates, from mind-bending games to streaming games.

 

Six big game announcements from Bethesda at E3 2019

1. Fallout 76

 

This game is already getting some great updates with human Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and Battle Royale. The online game has a big update called Wastelanders. Human NPCs and the mainstay of single-player Fallout games are the latest introductions. There will be new storylines and dialogue trees. The update will also bring a 52-player battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter.

 

2. Ghostwire: Tokyo

 

The creator of Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami has revealed his next studio project called Ghostwire: Tokyo. It is a scary, action adventure game based on people mysteriously vanishing in the city. Players will have to find out where they are and why the left. It is an action-oriented horror game. It is the latest release from Mikami’s studio Tango Gameworks. They are best known for The Evil Within series. Directing it is Ikumi Nakamura.

 

3. Arkane’s Deathloop

 

Deathloop is a first-person game about two assassins caught in an eternal struggle. Bethesda describes it as a game that explores “stunning environments and meticulously designed levels in an immersive gameplay experience that lets you approach every situation any way you like.”

 

“Hunt down targets all over the island in an effort to put an end to the cycle once and for all, and remember, if at first you don’t succeed… die, die again,” they explained. The release date is yet to be announced.

 

4. Orion Game Streaming

Bethesda has unveiled Orion. It is a new technology to improve cloud game streaming. The company says the technology will work with any game engine. The developer displayed a demo on stage. He streamed the 2016 version on the mobile phone called Doom. The beta version of the game will launch later in 2019.

 

5. Free-To-Play Mobile Commander Keen

 

Commander Keen is back in a very different form. It used to be popular in the 90s as a side-scrolling action game. It is now back as a free-to-play game. The mobile game will also be a cartoon-styled. Furthermore, it will be available later in the year on Android and iOS devices.

 

6. Rage 2

 

Rage 2 is getting an expansion. The post-apocalyptic shooter game expansion is called “Rise of the Ghosts.” It also has other additions like new weapons, vehicles and new quests. Furthermore, the expansion will add very important new gameplay elements like mech suits. The game will reportedly be available later in the year.
