Reports: iPhone 14 Pro Could Have Face ID Under The Screen & Others

Latest reports from Twitter leaker DylanDKT say that the upcoming iPhone 14 could have face ID under its screen and a hole punch camera design. Apple might have just designed this new feature to perfection, initially skipping to add it to its iPhone 13 models.

This current report correlates with Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo insider information about the iPhone 14 models having two distinct design changes. The last report from him says this year iPhone 14 will ship with hole-punch notch cameras, eliminating the notch altogether.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models will not have the notch at all. Interestingly, He says Apple’s high-end smartphones for this year will also have upgraded 48MP rear wide cameras. Reports of an in-display Touch ID for iPhone 13 didn’t materialize last year after it was heavily rumoured.

Touch ID will ship with the iPhone 14 with on-screen functionality in 2023 according to the analyst. Kuo says Apple’s foldable is still far off, the earliest release date speculation is 2024. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo accurately predicted the smaller notch and higher refresh rates coming to the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 release isn’t far away next year we hope his analysis is true.
