Rema Graces Billboard Cover In Los Angeles To Mark Black Music Month

Mavin Records singer Rema was recently appreciated by Apple Music by putting up a billboard of the singer in Los Angeles to mark Black Music Month.

Rema who was excited by the recognition took to his Twitter page to celebrate the great feat. Rema shared a short video of his photo on the billboard.

Divine Ikubor, known by stage name Rema, is a fast-rising Nigerian hip-hop rapper, songwriter, and stage performer. He was born in 2001 in Benin City, Edo State in the south southern part of Nigeria.

Rema became popular for his 2019 hit songs, especially “Iron man”, “Lady” and “Dumebi”.

Earlier in January, former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama, shared his list of favourite songs in 2019 on his Twitter page. Obama named Burna Boy’s “Anybody” and Rema’s “Iron Man” as two of his favourite songs from 2019.

On 19th October 2019, he also won the Next Rated Award at the 13th edition of The Headies. Rema has no doubt taken his music outside the shores of the country in a short time.
