Avatar Studios has set a 2025 release date for the next series from its franchise, which follows a new earth bender after the times of Aang and Korra.
The series will stream on Paramount+ and there are theories that it will be set in a world that closely resembles our present time, the 21st century.
As reported by Avatar News, the animated universe is getting huge expansions. Besides the upcoming series, there will also be an animated movie on the new Avatar character.

Recall that there is already an adult movie on Aang that is planned for an October 10, 2025, release. And, don’t forget that a live-action young Aang series is premiering next year, 2023.
The entire franchise was started by the Nickelodeon Animation Studio’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, which aired for three seasons between February 2005 and July 2008. Then, it was followed by a comic and the sequel series of The Legend of Korra.
Expectedly, the people behind this animated universe are capitalising on the popularity of their previous projects to launch more. The fact that it has taken this long for newer works is an argument for how much planning that has gone into it and we can’t wait to enjoy their upcoming offerings.
