Mo Abudu Calls Critics Of “Elesin Oba: The King’s Horseman” Uneducated

EbonyLife studios, boss Mo Abudu has taken a swipe at critics who have given negative feedback on her latest project “Elesin Oba: The King’s Horseman”.

The film which was released on Netflix on Friday, November 4th tells the tale of the messenger of the late King of Oyo who must commit a ritual suicide days after the King’s demise.

It is an adaptation of Wole Soyinka’s 1975 novel Death and the King’s Horseman.

Since its release on Netflix, many film lovers and enthusiasts have taken their time to make comments on the film and many of them have not been good.

In response to a post by Deyemi Okanlawon, Mo Abudu praised the actor while taking a huge swipe at the critics of the movie.

This is not the first time, a film from Ebony Life Studios will be trashed on social media.

“Chief Daddy 2”, the sequel to the 2018 Nigerian comedy dropped on Netflix on January 1, 2022, was greeted with negative and even angry reactions.
