In her Netflix documentary, “Homecoming”, Beyonce showed us the amount of work and determination that went into her iconic 2018 Coachella performance. Now Travis Scott seems to be taking a few pages from her book by giving his fans a glimpse into his rise to superstardom. The film shows all it took to bring his titanic Grammy-nominated Astroworld album alive. The upcoming Netflix documentary, “Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly”, will also look into the Houston rapper’s 2019 Super Bowl half time performance and intimate family moments.

The trailer includes heart-pumping footage from Travis’ shows.

It also shows moments from his childhood where we see Scott rapping as a child. Then a fan expresses how much the rapper means to him and how Travis Scott changed his life. There are also adorable clips of him with his and billionaire girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s daughter, Stormi Webster.

From the beginning of the trailer, where we see old footage of Travis playing to a crowd of no more than 50 in a public show, we see how far he’s come. This is a stark contrast with footage him playing to overwhelmingly large crowds in his recent headlining shows. Travis Scott has progressed from appearing on G.O.O.D. Music’s “Sin City” in 2012 to notching a number one album and selling out arenas across the globe. This goes to show how he’s been able to prove to his fans why he is one of music’s superstars.

Prior to the release of the documentary, Scott held a pop-up event in his hometown Houston, where he gave fans signed autographed VHS copies of the documentary. The rapper and father had taken to Instagram to post a Houston address for fans to meet him at. There, they were able to pick up a limited-edition VHS version of the Look Mom I Can Fly trailer. There are also speculations that Travis Scott’s online shop might have new merchandise releases related to the documentary.
